To communicate with ATM/POS machine, NVRs have various hardware ports such as RS232C, USB, and RJ45 ethernet port, and some NVRs have RS485 port additionally.

With regard to data protocols, NVR basically supports Epson, VistaATM, XApCom232, XApComIP protocols. Also, at generic text mode, user can set the transaction start/end text and line delimiter by user defined characters. You can select the hardware port and protocols on the NVR’s setup menu.
