To reduce internal reflections, MFZ Indoor Dome models use silicone bushings, which require a certain amount of compression to be effective. This necessary compression creates natural friction, which can cause the Pan position to shift slightly during installation. As the top cover is secured with a rotational method, friction between the silicone on the dome cover can cause the Pan position to shift.

  1. During the process of combining the dome and the body, the Pan position may change. Therefore, anticipate this change, adjust the Pan position accordingly, and then proceed with the fastening.
  2. For indoor dome cameras, including MFZ Indoor Dome cameras, the upper bubble can still rotate even after fastening the lower part of the bubble. After securing the lower part, rotate the upper part to adjust the PAN direction as desired. Be careful not to leave fingerprints or foreign objects on the bubble in front of the lens.
